Job Summary
Perform assembly tasks combining molded components to create finished products, utilizing hand tools and fixtures for accurate work. Conduct visual and functional checks of assembled items, identifying defects and reporting deviations from specifications. Follow standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines to verify finished products meet DECKED's standards. Adhere to safety protocols, keep work areas clean, and collaborate with team members to achieve production targets. Assist colleagues in different areas as needed while communicating effectively to report issues. Requires high school diploma, previous injection molding experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools for assembly tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production targets
- Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward process improvement
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in injection molding machine operation and assembly is preferred
- Basic understanding of injection molding processes and equipment
