Job Summary
Operate and monitor CNC machines and production equipment to manufacture medical components while performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Inspect finished products for quality compliance, adjust machinery as needed, and document all production activities and issues for the supervisor. Collaborate with the team to optimize workflow, assist in troubleshooting mechanical challenges, and participate in training sessions for new techniques. Maintain a clean work environment adhering to safety protocols and utilize measurement tools to ensure precision. Requires 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in medical devices, with a high school diploma or vocational machining background.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with operating and maintaining CNC machines and manual machining equipment
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic machining issues independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation software
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a vocational program in machining or a related field
