Job Summary
Ensure production lines run efficiently while maintaining product quality parameters and daily housekeeping standards. Lead safety audits and monitor compliance with plant Good Manufacturing Processes, including Food Safety and Quality Plans. Manage line start-ups and shutdowns, complete timely project objectives, and report food safety issues to management. Generate daily production, operating, and efficiency reports. Requires a 4-year degree in Food Science or Management Supervision with 3-5 years in food manufacturing. Full-time 3rd shift role with medical premiums as low as $24/week and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Food Science, Management Supervision, or FMO (Food Manufacturing Organization)
- Computer proficiency – MS Office
- Technical knowledge of food related equipment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time whether that be sitting or standing
- Must be able to use fingers to constantly operate a computer or other type of office equipment
- Must be able to regularly walk
- Must be able to use hands to handle and feel
- Must be able to reach with both hands and arms
- Must be able to visually detect, perceive, or recognize in near and far distances
- Must be able to converse or convey with other individuals
- Must be able to occasionally crouch
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry items as heavy as 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years in Food Manufacturing or related industry
- 1-2 years Supervisory experience
