3rd Shift - Manufacturing Shift Manager

Job Summary
Directs daily operations of the corrugated container production team on the 3rd shift in the printing department, ensuring safe, cost-effective production that meets customer and company standards. Leads plant technicians, holds employees accountable for quality and operational standards, coaches staff, facilitates communication between employees and management, collaborates with production planning to prioritize jobs and workflow, coordinates material movement, monitors workflow and staffing per shift, supports training efforts, maintains housekeeping, and performs other duties as assigned to support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (or equivalent experience) in business, management or supervision desired
- 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience and 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with KIWI, SAP a plus
- Certifications: First Aid/CPR
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication
- Experience leading people in a box plant, printing operation, converting operation or paper mill (preferred)
- Ability to drive change and implement continuous improvement
