Job Summary
Operate mandrel hose machines and downstream equipment for production and quality, including first article inspection and audit sheets. Track pieces produced, maintain records of materials used and machine conditions, and report labor, materials, and footage manufactured. Perform maintenance on equipment by completing work request forms and ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and organized by reporting hazards to the safety committee or supervisor. Maintain open communications with the supervisor regarding equipment condition, raw materials, and product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 55 pounds consistently
- The ability to read and write in English
- A thorough knowledge of mandrel product lines and construction requirements
- Capability of meeting production standards and exceeding established standards on occasion during normal production runs
- Basic tape reading knowledge
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment per policy
- Must be available to work overtime per production schedule
