3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic on 3rd shift responsible for startup, operation, shutdown and sanitation of production equipment in a food/beverage manufacturing environment. Duties include rapid repair of equipment breakdowns, preventative maintenance programs, operating and maintaining the anhydrous ammonia system, and supporting SQF food safety and quality requirements. Will assist in designing, improving and installing equipment to meet safety, quality and production goals; perform chemical testing (Central Sanitizer, House Water, Cheese Water) each shift; comply with GMP, sanitation policies and OSHA regulations; maintain required environmental paperwork; wear PPE and follow safety procedures; must provide own small tools and be willing to work overtime as needed. Exact compensation is described as $28.66 per hour, with overtime as required; compensation conversion is annualized for reporting.
