Job Summary
Lead the factory Maintenance team in planning and implementing initiatives to improve reliability, effectiveness, and efficiency of equipment, infrastructure, production lines, and facilities. Coordinate response to equipment breakdowns; develop and implement equipment life cycle management procedures; define maintenance plans for new production lines; propose improvements to reduce maintenance costs and enhance safety; monitor costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources across the maintenance scope. This role reports to Maintenance Supervisor and is onsite in Pinetops, NC. It requires 8+ years on a maintenance team, high school diploma or equivalent, and US work authorization. The work includes collaboration with Engineering, hands-on use of tools, and leadership of the maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years working on a maintenance team
- Specialist Technical & Engineering Skills
- Engineering & Manufacturing Processes
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Work authorization to work in the US
