Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Pilgrim’s on the 3rd shift at the Enterprise, AL complex. Responsible for identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting drive-related problems, assisting in motor testing and basic repairs, interpreting welding symbols, executing welding operations, and supporting the Maintenance and Plant Operations Team. Requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) with 1+ years in maintenance and basic welding/electrical understanding. Must be able to read electrical diagrams, use diagnostic tools like multimeters, work safely, and be a team player while standing for 8-11 hours per day in a production environment. Schedule includes Monday through Saturday with occasional Sundays; strong emphasis on safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in the Maintenance Field
- Basic understanding of welding and electrical systems
- Ability to multitask and work quickly
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Willing to work close to other employees at some stations
- Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day
