Job Summary
Machine Operator for a steel service center responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting and burn machines, performing setup and adjustments, handling materials, inspecting finished products, reading blueprints and customer specifications, and maintaining accurate records and a safe, efficient production area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous machine operator experience preferred
- Laser cutting and/or burn machine experience preferred
- Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
- Experience with Fanuc 3D Controllers is preferred
- Strong mathematical, geometry, measurement, and computer skills preferred
