Job Summary
3rd Shift Machine Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, rebuilds, and projects on plant equipment under supervision. Accountable for timely maintenance, responding to line calls, tracking parts usage, managing contracted projects, assisting refrigeration specialists, and participation in hazmat. Requires PLC/VFD electrical troubleshooting, TIG welding to food-grade standards, PPE compliance, and strong communication; must operate in a wet/cold environment and in confined spaces with physical demands including climbing, bending, and lifting up to ~70 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Journeyman or Accredited Certification in Machine repair or 5 years experience in machine repair
- Electrical troubleshooting with PLC and VFD experience
- TIG welding stainless steel to “food grade” standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required for job role
