Job Summary
Lead Machine Operator responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery, serving as the primary technical resource on the shift. Requires diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, training operators, ensuring SOPs and safety/quality standards are followed, and collaborating with maintenance and production leadership to improve equipment reliability. Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and strong communication within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on machine operation or mechanical manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues independently
- Strong understanding of machine components, mechanical processes, and preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to interpret mechanical problems and implement effective corrective actions
- Experience training or supporting other operators preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment
- Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
