Job Summary
Operate and tend moderately complex automatic and semiautomatic machines, including specialty folder gluers, automated flatbed die-cutters, laminators, SRE, Gopfort gluer stitchers, unitizers, and Guillotine cutters, to produce or modify parts in a continuous production operation. Perform machine set-ups, calibrate equipment, and measure tolerances while adhering to established standards for internal and external customers. Work the 3rd shift from 10:15pm to 6:15am Sunday through Thursday at a rate of $24 to $28 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. This role supports Great Northern's mission of producing sustainable, eco-friendly packaging supplied to national brands in a collaborative, safe, and tobacco-free workplace.
Required Qualifications
- 3rd Shift availability (Sunday – Thursday from 10:15pm until 6:15am)
- Ability to operate or tend moderately complex automatic and semiautomatic machines
- Use of hand or small power tools and fixtures
- Experience with Level Two automatic machines
- Ability to perform machine set-ups
- Ability to calibrate equipment
- Ability to measure tolerances
- Ability to work in a safety sensitive position
- Ability to work in a tobacco free campus
