Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical and mechanical equipment to support daily production schedules. Conduct root cause analysis on machine faults, perform routine preventative maintenance activities, and maintain effective communication between manufacturing and management teams. Document repair history for trend analysis, close work orders, and interface with the CMMS system while assisting in spare part inventory management. Adhere to all safety practices and wear required PPE, including steel toe shoes provided through the acquisition program. Work the 3rd shift at the Commerce Park location with competitive hourly pay including shift differentials and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with MS Office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel)
- Ability to communicate equipment issues to operations and manufacturing engineering staff in a clear and accurate manner
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance management
- Must be currently authorized to work in the applicable country on a full-time basis without the need for employer-sponsored immigration support now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Current enrollment in 2 yr. Associates degree or technical school
- Prior work experience in a technical field
- Welding, machining, and fabrication experience
- Familiarity with industrial vision systems
- Experience in the maintenance of automated equipment and troubleshooting of pneumatics and industrial controls
- Understanding of PM and TPM strategies and how they relate to the management of industrial automation
