Job Summary
Conduct sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, vacuuming, and floor extraction to maintain daily cleanliness of assigned areas. Perform restroom sanitization, trash removal, window washing, and snow/ice removal within 10 feet of entryways. Execute desk, wall, and fixture cleaning as directed by the custodial supervisor. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM in a physically demanding environment requiring lifting up to 50 pounds. Maintain reliable transportation and pass a background check. Report to the Account Manager for this full-time position supporting educational facilities management.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree preferred but not required. Required.
- Reliable transportation
- Background check required
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction
- Excellent work history
- Must be available for 3rd shift (Monday - Friday 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM)
- Must be available for occasional overtime as required by manager
