Job Summary
Conduct daily custodial duties across facilities, including routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, lounges, corridors, bathrooms, elevators, and stairways. Sanitize restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and dusting surfaces while stocking supplies, and vacuum traffic areas and carpets. Clean furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, and trim; polish tables, benches, chairs, stainless steel surfaces, and water fountains. Collect recyclable and non-recyclable waste, empty trash into proper dumping areas, and secure job areas with safety signs when hazardous. Lock and unlock doors, turn off lights in unoccupied rooms, and report safety hazards to supervisors. Follow infection control practices, wear PPE, and ensure cleaning carts and closets remain secure and properly replenished. Work nights, weekends, and holidays in a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must have availability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift heavy trash
- Must be able to break down heavy trash into more manageable weights
- Must be able to safely empty trash
- Must be able to use safety poles
- Must be able to use PPE
- Must be able to follow infection control practices
- Must be able to follow hand washing techniques
- Must be able to lock and unlock doors and windows
- Must be able to turn off lights
- Must be able to secure job area with safety signs
- Must be able to identify and report safety hazards
- Must be able to follow Safety Procedures
- Must be able to clean bio-waste
- Must be able to dress in company uniform
- Must be able to wear employee badge
- Must be able to wear black slip resistant safety shoes
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background check
