Job Summary
Operate Fanuc Robot flame spray and blaster cells to add material to engine blocks, heads, and components for remanufacturing. Conduct complete quality checks, identify parts by number, and assemble components using hoists, air tools, grinders, and jigs. Follow standardized work procedures, read station instructions, and utilize drawings and bills of materials. Maintain a clean work area, implement continuous improvement measures, and cross-train on rotation positions. Work physically demanding shifts involving repetitive lifting up to 45 pounds and standing on concrete. Located in Byesville, OH, this onsite role offers a starting pay of $20.70/hr with shift differentials and gainsharing potential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
- Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds
- Must maintain a clean work area
- Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
- Cross train on other jobs as required
- Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
- Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
- Previous mechanical experience
- High School Diploma / GED is preferred
- Further college education a plus
