Job Summary
Conduct robotic flame spray operations on engine blocks, heads, and components using Fanuc Robot cells, blasters, shakers, and hoists. Perform quality checks, identify parts by number, and operate air tools, grinders, and jigs to assemble heavy-duty truck parts. Follow standardized work procedures, read station instructions, and maintain a clean work area while adhering to rotation plans. Complete training matrices, utilize computer systems for assembly data, and participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement activities. Work physically demanding shifts involving repetitive lifting up to 45 pounds and standing on concrete.
Required Qualifications
- Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
- Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds
- Must maintain a clean work area
- Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
- Cross train on other jobs as required
- Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
- Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
- Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
- Previous mechanical experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Further college education
