Job Summary
Read blueprints and use a computerized system for product movement while operating necessary machines for heat treatment, degreasing, oil dipping, and deburring. Inspect product quality throughout each step and follow supervisor direction for rejected products. Participate in cross-departmental work production, uphold defined quality standards, and strive to achieve team and individual production targets. Set up and adjust metal forming processes, troubleshoot production equipment, and measure parts with precision instruments. Requires mechanical experience, math and English exam pass, and third-shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment
- Mechanical experience including: operation of high speed automatic and semi-automatic equipment required
- Set up and adjustment of metal forming processes (stamping, forming, shearing) required
- Experience troubleshooting production equipment and ability to identify machine problems required
- Experience measuring parts with precision instruments including: micrometers, digital calipers, etc.
- Pass required exam of math and English
