Job Summary
3rd Shift DC Automation & Maintenance Technician I responsible for keeping the facility and equipment running smoothly, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs across building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators) and the AutoStore system. Collaborates with IT, HR, Facilities, and Operations to solve problems, support projects, and maintain documentation. Performs troubleshooting and repairs on automation/robotics, conveyors, and related equipment; uses tools to address issues; maintains safe, clean work areas; and ensures compliance with fire/life safety standards. Requires 2 years of related experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety/PPE policies. Schedule is on the 3rd shift (hours Monday–Friday 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM); pre-employment drug screening and background check required. Eligible for benefits and company-matched 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role
- Experience with automated systems, conveyors, or robotics preferred / required
- Hands-on experience using tools to troubleshoot, repair and resolve maintenance issues
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements
