3rd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist

Adjust and prepare production tools and resources for machining operations using dedicated equipment while adhering to safety, cost, quality, and time requirements. Set up, adjust, and operate machines; machine pre-production items and prototypes, then follow established controls to validate first items. Detect machining faults and seek corrective action, edit programs as necessary, and evaluate and perform tool changes. Perform quality control inspections by following setup sheets and instructions, ensuring required traceability and reporting work. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and promote safety at all times. Requires high school diploma, analytical skills, blueprint reading ability, and capacity to stand for long periods.
