Job Summary
The 3rd Shift Certified Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing process and facility-related equipment, including preventative maintenance. Duties include complying with safety policies, supporting LEAN initiatives, ensuring reliable operation of HVAC and other systems, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, and coordinating maintenance tasks. Applicants should possess a college certificate, a Maintenance Mechanic Certificate, and two to four years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate from college or technical school
- Maintenance Mechanic Certificate or equivalent
- Two to four years related experience and/or training
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman cards in various disciplines
- Experience in LEAN manufacturing
- Military mechanical experience
- Experience in chemical/coating processing & production
- Experience in dispensing operations
