Job Summary
3rd Shift Bus Cleaner at DATTCO, New Britain, CT. Primary responsibilities include inspecting and cleaning luggage storage bays, overhead passenger storage areas, windows, and floors; emptying trash from interior of vehicles; brushing and vacuuming; sanitizing floors and fixtures; cleaning exterior of vehicles; fueling buses; and ensuring OSHA safety rules are followed to promote a safe work environment. Requires stamina for a physical, fast-paced environment; valid CT driver’s license; ability to pass in-yard driving test; ability to move and park large buses; pass HPE/physical/drug tests; and may require overtime. Schedule is Thursday through Monday, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM with Tuesday and Wednesday off; compensation $21.50–$26.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT driver’s license
- 18+ years old
- Must be able to pass an in-yard driving test of all vehicles
- Must be able to maneuver large vehicles including double decker’s around facility
- Operate fuel pump
- Pass a Human Performance Examination (HPE), physical exam, background investigation and drug test prior to hire
- Must be able to pass OSHA safety rules and promote a safe work environment
- Ability to move and park different types of buses
- Reliable transportation to and from work
