Job Summary
Maintain departmental braiding and winding equipment by performing routine preventive maintenance, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure continued operation. Diagnose faulty operation causing incorrect braiding or stoppage, then execute temporary repairs, replacements, or machine alterations to permit continued production. Use hand and small power tools for fitting, grinding, and reassembly while managing repair parts and supplies inventory. Detect defective material and report unusual conditions to supervision, adhering to environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role requires a high school diploma, two years of relevant experience, and solid troubleshooting ability. Work involves a wide range of hand and bench operations requiring skill in diagnosing and remediating equipment troubles quickly.
Required Qualifications
