Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with supervision of Grocery and Sub-Departments (Bakery/Deli, Produce, and Meat); Assist in emphasis on customer relations and dealing with employees’ concerns; Assume Store Manager functions in the absence of the Store Manager. Relocation may be required for promotion. Requires prior experience as a P.I.C. and/or 3rd Person, ability to train employees, establish relationships with customers and suppliers, and direct and coordinate store activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and corporate databases (Item Master, Movement). Must pass background check and provide professional references. Strong leadership, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to calculate pricing and use a 10-key calculator; communicate effectively with Store Manager and other PICs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Language: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Mathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages; ability to apply basic algebra and geometry
- Willingness to relocate for promotion
- Experience as PIC and/or 3rd Person
- Pass background check
