3rd Grade Teacher/Multi-Classroom Leader ($10,000 stipend)

Lead a team of teachers to plan, co-teach, and deliver high-growth instruction for 3rd-grade students, with a focus on small-group teaching and tutoring. Responsibilities include setting ambitious, measurable achievement goals; designing instructional tools and materials; planning backward from standards; coordinating and aligning lessons, activities, and assessments; supervising paraprofessionals and teaching residents; modeling instructional strategies; coaching team members; maintaining a culture of respect and collaboration; and communicating progress with families. The role requires teaching students directly for at least 30% of the time, leveraging data to inform instruction, and participating in monthly one-hour virtual meetings plus scheduled professional development. The position is full-time, with compensation described as NC Teacher Salary Schedule plus a stipend of approximately $10,000, and reports to the Principal/Curriculum Director.
