Job Summary
Teach third-grade students using the Core Knowledge framework, plan and deliver standards-aligned differentiated instruction, and assess student progress. Establish a respectful classroom environment, implement PBIS, coordinate paraprofessional/volunteer support, and maintain accurate student records. Communicate regularly with families via multiple channels and collaborate with colleagues for ongoing instructional improvement. Requires Minnesota teaching license and experience with Google Classroom; salary range and start dates provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Teaching License, preferred Tier 3 or Tier 4, in elementary education
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience using Google Classroom
- Curriculum planning/alignment and instructional experience
- Experience with differentiation
- Willingness to identify, interpret and follow school policies and procedures
- Show initiative and function as a self-starter
- Physical demands: able to stand for long periods of time.
