Job Summary
3rd Grade Teacher responsible for delivering standards-aligned instruction, developing lesson plans, and monitoring student progress using data to inform instruction. Collaborates with colleagues to ensure rigorous instruction, engages diverse learners, fosters a safe and productive classroom environment, and communicates effectively with parents/guardians. Requires strong instructional, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; bilingual skills preferred. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, using assessments to guide instruction, providing timely feedback, and participating in professional development and professional learning communities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas teaching certification required in the appropriate content or grade level area
