Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities in accordance with state and federal guidelines while providing direct instruction and support to learners with varied needs. Support general education teachers by advising on accommodations, modifying work, and delivering special education services. Monitor student progress, collect data, and make ongoing adjustments to IEPs as needed. Manage student case coordination and communicate effectively with parents to ensure a collaborative approach. Continuously seek new information to improve practice and share insights with classroom teachers. This full-time role is based at The Learning Community Charter School in Central Falls, Rhode Island, with hours running 7:45 am to 3:15 pm most days and 7:45 am to 4:45 pm on Wednesdays. Candidates must be certified or in the process of certification in Rhode Island.
Required Qualifications
