3rd Grade Science and Social Studies Teacher

Develop and implement lesson plans for 3rd grade science and social studies that accommodate individual student differences and align with Texas Education Agency guidelines. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing while collaborating with special education teachers to modify curricula per Individual Education Plans. Manage student behavior according to the Student Code of Conduct and create a classroom environment conducive to intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Assume responsibility for assigned extracurricular activities and sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal. Establish professional relationships with parents, students, colleagues, and community members while participating in required staff development and faculty meetings.
