Job Summary
Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics to 3rd-5th grade students while differentiating lessons for those above and below grade level. Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional planning, interventions, and the development of foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Establish a structured, positive classroom environment implementing PBIS strategies to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in weekly professional learning communities to continuously improve teaching practices and contribute to school-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and lead parent-teacher conferences to maintain strong home-school partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or relevant content area)
- Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area
- Minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Show commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a data-driven instructional mindset
- Exhibit collaboration, professionalism, and initiative in a team-based environment
