Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage in 3RCP Ortho & Emergency Surgery at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring 24 months of experience with 3 months in the last 12 months. Complete 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience and 3 months of Epic system proficiency. Maintain a BLS certification and provide 2 charge/lead references. This assignment involves 50% weekend shifts, 12-hour days, three shifts per week, and a maximum of 14 days time off. Candidates must hold an Iowa or compact license, reside over 60 miles from the facility, and float to additional units if needed.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months
- 3 months of Epic experience
- 1 months of Trauma Level 1 facility
- Iowa license or compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 2 Charge/Lead references
- Proof of identification
- Experience in similar settings (high acuity, fast-paced, level 1 trauma centers)
