3PL & External Warehouses Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain accurate inventory records across all third party warehouse locations by monitoring and reconciling physical inventory against system data. Process and validate inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, consumption, adjustments, and returns while ensuring material consumption is recorded in real time. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and transaction delays by working closely with Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance teams to align material availability and reports. Coordinate cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities to improve operational efficiency. Requires full availability to travel within Europe to third party warehouse locations and physical inventory audits when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related roles
- Experience working with third party logistics warehouse locations
- Experience managing inventory reconciliation and transactional accuracy within ERP systems, Excel spreadsheets and other database platforms
- Full availability to travel within Europe to third party warehouse locations
- Ability to participate in physical inventory audits when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or high value inventory environments
- Knowledge of inventory auditing, cycle counting, and warehouse best practices
- Strong understanding of inventory environmental storage conditions and other relevant storage requirements for materials at third party locations
- Experience supporting multiple warehouse locations across regions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent follow up and problem solving abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and proactively escalate issues
- High sense of ownership and urgency
- ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, sorting, filtering, and reporting
- Inventory reporting and data analysis tools
