Job Summary
Book freight, negotiate competitive pricing with carriers, and source new trucking companies to ensure a steady stream of service providers. Cultivate relationships with suppliers, schedule incoming service calls, and manage communications within assigned territories while maintaining clear updates. Handle customer concerns and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department for resolution. Requires minimum of one year of 3PL dispatching experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar platforms. Monthly bonuses start after three months, followed by comprehensive benefits including paid vacation, sick time, and personal time.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of 3PL dispatching experience or relevant experience in freight brokerage/third-party logistics
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure the best pricing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Successful police records check
