Job Summary
Process and produce multi-planar reformatted and three-dimensional images from volumetric scans using various imaging computer workstations and post-processing software. Collaborate with radiology section chiefs to develop post-processing protocols and create standard protocol views for clinical anatomy and pathology. Ensure correct patient identification, prepare patients for exams, and administer medications through vascular access sites as prescribed. Evaluate images for proper positioning, verify archival storage, and participate in modality quality or process improvement activities. Work independently in a clinical environment while educating students and monitoring other health care providers.

- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT-CT
- ARRT-MR
- ARRT-VI
- ARMRIT
- CNMT
- Computed Tomography Technologist RT(R)(CT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist RT(R)(MR)
- Vascular Interventional Technologist RT(R)(VI)
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 2 years Related work experience
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study
