Job Summary
Set up, operate, and monitor the Massivit 3D printer by reviewing job specifications, preparing files with slicing software, and tracking material usage. Inspect completed parts for accuracy and defects, then assist with post-processing tasks like trimming, sanding, and assembly. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration while troubleshooting printer, software, and production issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a safe, organized production area and communicate delays or quality concerns promptly to prepress, fabrication, and project management teams. Work overtime when production schedules require it.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with computers and industrial production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow job tickets and production instructions
- Ability to use basic measuring tools and perform quality inspections
- Reliable attendance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to stand and work around production equipment for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and safely handle printed components and materials
- Ability to lift within company-established safety limits
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Willingness to work overtime when production schedules require it
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with 3D printing, CNC equipment, digital printing, manufacturing, or fabrication
- Massivit, CAD, 3D modeling, slicing software, or large-format printing experience
