3D Matterport Capture Technician and Photographer

Independent contractor role as a 3D Matterport Capture Technician and Photographer. Conduct on-site 3D scans and HDR photography using Matterport and DSLR gear, ensuring accuracy and high-quality assets. You will manage your schedule independently, travel to various client job sites, and coordinate with scheduling/post-production teams. Equipment requirements include a full-frame DSLR/mirrorless body capable of 5+ exposure brackets, wide-angle lens, sturdy tripod, Matterport Pro2, and related gear. Compensation is project-based with typical earnings around $70–$100 per hour depending on project scope and turnaround, with most jobs starting at $70+ and potential for higher pay based on complexity and location. Ideal candidates have a photography-related background, are comfortable on their feet for extended periods, and can complete a remote certification course and test photoshoot; onboarding requires a W-9 with EIN and a current Certificate of Insurance.
