Job Summary
Study and interpret client briefs and specifications to define work requirements, then assist in effort estimation for new projects. Create sample assets to establish clarity in the 3D environment workflow and deliver high-quality, error-free assets adhering to client specifications and best practices. Provide direction to team members, conduct first-level artistic checks to ensure adherence to technical and artistic standards, and actively troubleshoot project issues. Regularly communicate work status to leads and project managers while identifying risks and raising red flags.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent 3D environment creation skills
- High degree of proficiency in the use of industry standard software like Maya, Max, Photoshop and zBrush
- Hands on experience working with software like Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Blender
- Strong knowledge of Game Art pipeline, Realtime shaders and engines like Unreal and Unity
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Self-starter
- Team player
- At least 5 years of experience in creating 3D art assets for AAA titles
