Job Summary
Develop and maintain 3D models using Revit software to transform vision into proposed plans, generating 2D drawings and construction plans for commercial projects including permit set plans. Coordinate drawings across trades (MEP, structural, civil) to avoid conflicts while reviewing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA requirements. Maintain organized drawing files and documentation in company systems and participate in project coordination meetings as needed. This role bridges design intent and construction reality, supporting business development, project managers, superintendents, and trade partners to improve project planning, communication, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Revit
- Create and manage 3D models for commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills

- Organizational and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Experience working with a commercial general contractor preferred
- Familiarity with MEP coordination is a plus
