3D CAD Designer/Drafter

Job Summary
Create 3D models and technical drawings from customer specifications using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Develop submittal drawings and coordination models, then produce manufacturing-ready drawings for fabrication and production teams. Review designs for accuracy, quality, and manufacturability while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and customers to refine designs. Support projects used in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and data center infrastructure. This role requires an Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, or Engineering Technology, with 1–3 years of CAD design experience preferred. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule in Bettendorf, IA, within a stable, employee-owned company with a 137-year legacy.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 1–3 years of CAD design experience
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Ability to see details at close range
- Ability to communicate information clearly in speaking and writing
- Ability to move throughout the office and manufacturing areas as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Autodesk Inventor experience
- Experience with SolidWorks or Creo
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail
