Assistant Manager responsible for executing operational, merchandising and managerial functions during assigned shift; acts as store manager-on-duty in absence of Store Manager; drives sales, analyzes business performance, sets and monitors goals, manages scheduling and expenses; recruits and develops staff, coaches team to deliver exceptional customer service; markets store externally, utilizes social media for events and traffic, coordinates grass-root events, maintains store standards, inventory, and visual merchandising; trains staff and ensures policy compliance; requires strong communication, interpersonal and retail math skills, ability to lift 30 lbs, stand long hours, and flexible scheduling.
