Job Summary
Coordinate blender, heat exchanger, and relish line equipment startups, operations, and shutdowns while monitoring production parameters and adjusting for quality deviations. Insure proper formula adherence and food safety critical limits throughout the shift, reporting issues to the Supervisor. Assist operators and mechanics with repairs on the relish line, train new personnel, and perform duties for the Syrup Maker and Machine Operator/Mechanic when the line is idle. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and adhere to safety protocols involving climbing, lifting, and exposure to hot pepper fumes and oil.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on mechanical work in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Use of precision measurement tools
- Operation of basic shop equipment
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues independently
- Clear verbal and written communication for reporting, documentation, and teamwork
Desired Qualifications
- Additional trades training
- Industrial certifications such as maintenance technician credentials or mechanical trade certifications
