Job Summary
Assemble wooden crates, skid cabs, and palettes based on blueprints by positioning boards, plywood, and sub-assemblies using templates or measurements. Measure and fasten pre-cut wood to complete projects, while assisting saw operators by stacking cut boards and plywood to specific sizes. Maintain a daily supply and inventory of essential items, keeping the work area clean and free of debris. Operate hand and air tools including nail guns and screwdrivers, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and plant manager. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm at an hourly rate of $14.00.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a measuring tape and some blueprints
- Understand and follow work instructions in English
- Able to operate a nail gun, screwdrivers, hammer, and other hand and air tools
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50lbs
