Job Summary
Support Title I elementary teaching role requiring a Bachelor's in a related field and valid Texas teaching certification (EC-6/1-8 or EC-4) plus ESL Supplemental Certification. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary level, with experience in early literacy instruction, MTSS, and RTI, and with providing instructional support to teachers and leading small group interventions. This position is located at Weaver Elementary School and involves instructional leadership aligned to Title I supports and elementary literacy initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Valid Texas Teaching certification EC-6, Elementary 1-8, or EC-4
- ESL Supplemental Certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience at the elementary level in public education at the primary grade levels
- Some experience in early literacy instruction, MTSS, and response to intervention strategies
- Some experience in providing instructional support to teachers and leading small group interventions
