Job Summary
Programme Facilitator delivers group and one-to-one rehabilitation interventions to people on probation, including those with sexual and domestic abuse offences, with a focus on reducing re-offending and building pro-social behaviour. Responsibilities include delivering Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions, managing group dynamics, monitoring progress and wellbeing, keeping accurate records, and working with courts and criminal-justice partners. Evening work is essential, with travel to multiple locations from base offices across the region; travel expenses are reimbursed. The role involves extensive training, a 6-month probationary period, and a hybrid working arrangement within the UK. The role requires delivering evidence-based practice, maintaining professional standards, and supporting sentence management. Responsibilities also include preparing facilitation exercises, delivering workshops, and providing guidance to probation staff and external stakeholders; the role may require working evenings and weekends and involves travel across a large regional area. The post is regionally based, reports to the Programme Manager, and has no line-management responsibilities.
