Job Summary
Warehouse Associate position at NAPA Auto Parts. Responsibilities include expediting incoming/outgoing freight, receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, loading and shipping merchandise, processing inventory with an electronic scanner, and maximizing warehouse space with safety and precision. Requires physical agility (bending to floor-level shelves, reaching eight feet, standing/walking throughout shift), ability to operate warehouse machinery per safety procedures, and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug test and background check
- Ability to maneuver heavy equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Forklift certification a plus
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- Positve and professional attitude
- Time management skills
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Strength to lift and move merchandise of up to 60 pounds
- Work independently and accurately to complete assigned duties in a timely manner
- Attention to detail
- Motivated to train and learn
- Team player and must work well with others
- Desire to go above and beyond the Job Description
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
