3500 Clinical Nurse

Provides direct patient care in a Short-stay Observation Unit (24 beds) with 3x12 shifts and every 3rd weekend. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care within standards; educates patients and families on illness/injury management and post-treatment home care; promotes patient safety and quality; develops and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and caregivers; performs ongoing evaluation of patient needs and communicates plan of care across the continuum. Requires RN licensure; safety-sensitive position with magnet hospital credentials noted. Sign-on bonus available. Bachelor’s degree preferred; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; no prior experience specified beyond preferred qualifications.
