350 - Sales Associate - Store

Job Summary
Drive sales to achieve and exceed personal and store goals while ensuring all funds and merchandise are handled according to Company policy. Provide exceptional customer service by serving as a product knowledge expert, modeling brand values, and driving PLCC to enhance brand loyalty. Assist with merchandising, display maintenance, visual changes, and replenishing floor stock to maintain store cleanliness and standards. Support marketing initiatives and schedule at least one grass-root event per quarter. Communicate daily with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager on operational areas. This role requires standing for 8–10 hours, lifting 30 lbs, and working a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and late evenings. The position reports to the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6– 12 months prior retail experience
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending and stretching frequently
- Stand for periods of 8 – 10 hours a day
- Use ladders or other equipment, for the purpose of store and merchandising maintenance
- Work a flexible schedule to include some holidays, most weekends and/or late evenings
- Ability to apply retail math principles
- Excellent computer skills and ability to use a POS system
- High level of initiative and accountability
- Proven ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business
- Detail oriented; consistently meets deadlines
