341 - Test Technician - 2nd shift (onsite)

Job Summary
Conduct testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, and spectrum analyzers while collecting, documenting, and reporting results. Evaluate test data to identify fault isolation points and verify repairs, collaborating with engineers to analyze trends and improve system performance. Read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits, and follow written work instructions to troubleshoot issues independently or within a team. Requires U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing the Certified Electronics Technician Associate exam. This is a 100% onsite 2nd shift role with new hire training on the 1st shift for four weeks. You will support Collins Aerospace's mission systems team in delivering secure communications for military, commercial, and government customers.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- HS Diploma
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Must pass the Certified Electronics Technician Associate (CETa) exam from Electronics Technicians Association – International (ETA-I)
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift
- Must be able to train on 1st shift for 4+ weeks
- Ability to read complex electronic schematics
- Ability to analyze circuits
- Ability to follow written work instructions
- Capability of working independently
- Capability of working in a group setting
- Must be able to lift/carry equipment or parts up to 25 lbs
