313A Refrigeration Service (Apprentice Term 4, 5 or Journeyman)

The 313A Refrigeration Service Apprentice/Journeyman will join Neelands in the Barrie, ON area to provide refrigeration and HVAC service, installation, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance for supermarkets and commercial/industrial facilities. Responsibilities include responding to service calls and scheduled maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions in equipment such as CO2 racks, condensers, evaporator fans, glycol racks, and expansion tanks, troubleshooting to ensure proper operation after repairs, performing both scheduled and unscheduled repairs, communicating updates to the team, assisting the estimator with quotes, building and maintaining positive customer relationships, managing the service vehicle inventory, and being available for on-call after-hours service Monday through Friday (7:30am–5:30pm). Qualifications include 313A Journeyman or Apprentice (Term 4 or 5), G2/G1 Gas Technician Licence, ozone depletion prevention certificate, valid G license with clean driver abstract, and English proficiency.
