Job Summary
The 310T Mechanic role involves ongoing maintenance and repair of school buses, performing brake and safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with company policies as well as local laws. Candidates must be a Licensed Mechanic (310T) and possess a Safety Inspection License. Ideal applicants will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, valid driver's license, and own hand tools. Previous experience with fleet management systems and school buses is considered an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Mechanic - 310T
- Safety Inspection License
- Own hand tools
- Valid Driver’s License
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Computer and diagnostic equipment skills
- Strong time management skills
- Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with a Fleet Management System
- Previous school bus experience
